Varsity Boys win the Division II Sac-Joaquin Section soccer championship.

Great start to the Sectionals with a strong victory over Rio Linda! The Varsity boys showed they are here to play with a 9 - 0 win in their Quarter Final match on Tuesday.

The boys played well again in the Semifinal match against McClatchy on Thursday. Good ball movement and control led them to a 5 - 0 victory.

They did it - Granite Bay Varsity soccer team is the 2010 Division II Sac-Joaquin Section boys soccer champions. The boys won the championship match with a dominate performance over Bella Vista and a 4 -0 victory. The boys have scored a total of 159 goals on the season and given up just 8. This culminated a outstanding season that ended up with a 26-0-1 record.

Great job to all the boys and the coaches for such a fine season - you have done us all proud. Your parents, fans and entire community appreciates your efforts and what you have achieved with this season.

THANK YOU for the great season - we will all remember it forever!
